Lancaster

Feeder Creek Veterinary Clinic is just 10 miles north of Lancaster, which is the county seat of Fairfield County.

Lancaster is known as the “Glass City” and is home to the Ohio Glass Museum.  Feeder Creek Veterinary Clinic is proud to be involved in the Lancaster community. Our practice is happy to provide free care for Arno the Fairfield County Police dog. Lancaster is also home to the Fairfield County Fairgrounds, and we have provided veterinary care as the official fair vet for the past twenty five years.

We take care of all the livestock at the fair, including the beef and dairy cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, and more.  The beef show arena has been named after Feeder Creek because of our strong support for the fair and Fairfield County 4-H and FFA.  Many dogs and cats from the Lancaster area receive their veterinary care at our hospital in Millersport.  We also provide equine services for a number of horses in Lancaster.

Among other services, our veterinarians perform lameness exams, x-rays, digital ultrasounds, and joint injections.  It is important to have your horse’s teeth floated once a year, which we can do with our special power float that features water cooling technology to ensure safety.  It is also important for your horse to have vaccinations and an annual fecal exam to determine your horse’s worming schedule.  Our equine veterinarians are happy to travel to Lancaster to take care of your horse.
